ZAM818 is Zambia's weekday numbers lottery. Pick your numbers, pay securely with mobile money, and follow the draw from Monday to Friday.

Playing step by step
Choose how you'd like to play and follow the four steps below.

Choose your game type
Select how many numbers you want to play. Each game type has a different multiplier — the higher the difficulty, the bigger the potential win.

Pick your numbers
Choose between 1 and 5 numbers from 1 to 90. You can also use Auto-select and let the system choose for you.

Set your line cost and pay
Enter how much you want to stake per line. Review the possible win, press Play, and approve the mobile money prompt on your phone.

Dial *818#
Open your phone dialler and dial *818# on a supported Zambian network.

Choose your game type
Select Direct 1, Direct 2, Direct 3, Direct 4, or Direct 5 from the menu.

Enter your numbers
Type your chosen numbers or use the available auto-pick option.

Enter your stake and confirm
Enter your stake amount, review the total cost and approve the mobile money payment to lock in your ticket.

Choose how many numbers to play
Every game type uses the same pool of 90 balls numbered 1 to 90. Five balls are drawn every weekday.

Example: stake ZMW 10 on Direct 2 and win → ZMW 10 × 240 = ZMW 2,400.

03 · Draw
The draw
ZAM818 draws run every weekday from Monday to Friday.
ZAM818 draws take place live every Monday to Friday and are broadcast on television and radio.
Ticket sales close at 18:40 every weekday. Tickets placed after the cutoff are
entered into the following eligible draw. Five balls are drawn from a certified mechanical draw
machine containing all 90 balls. Results are published after the draw and sent by SMS to participating players.

04 · Payouts
Winning and payouts
Your ticket status and official draw result determine whether a payout is due.
If your ticket wins, your payout is credited automatically to your mobile money wallet for standard wins. You'll receive an SMS after the draw confirming your result. You can also check the Draw Results page or use *818# on your phone.
